Maui Neutral Zone is more than a media platform—it’s a movement rooted in aloha, creativity, and community action. Founded by visionary host Jason Schwartz, this initiative is powered by the Dream Makers Foundation and its flagship project, DreamMaui, established in 1991 as a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting Maui through arts, culture, and environmental stewardship. Locally seen as MAMA • Maui Arts & Music Association and PAPA • People Aligned in Positive Action.

Our Media Legacy
Jason Schwartz has produced over 1,000 television and radio shows since 1992, including:
- M.A.M.A. Presents – A long-running series on Maui’s visual and healing arts, media arts, music, and Maui and Hawaiian lifestyle
- The NEUTRAL Zone – Weekly interviews and discussions on community issues, challenges and myriads of solutions

- Former founder of The Solar Exchange (later Energy Exchange)—Southern California’s largest independent solar brokerage
- Maui resident since 1988, with deep roots in renewable energy, real estate, and media

- Jason’s decades of experience make him a trusted voice in Maui’s evolution—both as a media figure and as a real estate professional with Maui Coast Properties.
Meet Airielle Pearson
AIRIELLE (PATRICIA) PEARSON – Airielle has been a member of the core development team of MAMA since 1994. A beauty queen and official products spokeswoman in her teens and twenties, she has been a healer, spiritual midwife, women’s individual and group leader since the 1970s. After graduating from The New School of Social Research in New York City, Airielle journeyed the world and has studied with numerous great world master teachers. She uses her knowledge in Spirituality and Herbal and Energetic Healing Modalities. Airielle also hosted a TV show called Airielle’s World. She has been on the Board of Directors of the Maui DreamMakers Foundation since 1994.
