[00:00Introduction and Personal Journey of Adrianna

This segment introduces Adrianna as the central figure of the “Chemo Cafe,” a platform documenting her journey with ovarian cancer. Adrianna shares her experience candidly, emphasizing the emotional and physical challenges of her diagnosis and treatment. Initially, Adrianna was gearing up for an exciting career shift involving writing, teaching, healing, and public speaking, but the cancer diagnosis temporarily derailed these plans. Despite limited energy, she focuses on healing and documenting her process to support and connect with others facing similar struggles. The tone is personal and intimate, highlighting the feelings of isolation and the importance of connection during illness.

  • [01:11Community Support and Birthday Celebration
The conversation reflects on a recent birthday party for Adrianna, which served as a heartwarming gathering of friends and family expressing their love and support. This celebration was a significant emotional boost, demonstrating the power of community during difficult times. Special tributes included songs created by friends Nirja and Kedar, adding a creative and bonding element to the event. Adrianna’s inclination to host a gathering stems from a desire to reconnect and counterbalance the isolation brought on by illness and recovery, especially after a debilitating bout of pneumonia that further complicated her health.

  • [02:40Health Update and Medical Progress
Adrianna provides an update on her cancer markers, specifically CA-125 levels, which have dropped from a high of 215 before surgery to 14 after chemotherapy cycles. This decline indicates positive progress in her treatment. However, she clarifies that while the cancer indicators are low, she still faces considerable physical challenges such as fatigue and mental fog. Daily tasks, including preparing food and managing supplements, require significant effort and careful time management. She also calls on her community for practical support—help with food preparation, transportation, and companionship—to ease her daily burdens.

  • [04:33Call for Community Assistance and Contact Information
Adrianna openly invites friends and community members to assist with various needs during her recovery. She provides a phone number (808-870-8168) for those interested in volunteering or offering help. This appeal underscores the importance of communal care in her healing journey and acknowledges the reciprocal benefits of shared time and support for both Adrianna and her visitors.

[05:15Family Challenges: Mother’s Health and Hospice Care
A deeply personal topic is introduced regarding Adrianna’s mother, who has been in and out of hospitals and recently entered hospice care. Hospice provided a gentler environment, allowing her mother to find peace amid the chaos of medical settings. Adrianna recounts how her mother’s condition has rapidly declined, with recent news indicating she is entering a coma and may not live through the night. Despite her own frailty from pneumonia and chemotherapy, Adrianna chooses to share this difficult moment openly rather than hide it, emphasizing the emotional complexity of caregiving while ill. The segment reflects on family dynamics, highlighting the supportive role of Adrianna’s sister and the presence of close family members during this critical time.

  • [07:38The Practice of Receiving Support
Adrianna discusses the emotional shift from constantly giving and doing to learning how to receive help and love. This transition is framed as an essential part of her healing and rehabilitation. She acknowledges that receiving is a learned skill and integral to her recovery process. The conversation hints at future discussions dedicated to the concept of receiving, framing it as a vital spiritual and practical practice, particularly for those facing serious illness.

  • [08:25Community Blessings and Future of Chemo Cafe
The host reassures Adrianna that she is surrounded by a vast network of people sending positive energy and blessings, reinforcing the therapeutic power of collective goodwill. There is hopeful anticipation that the chemo cafe will continue until it is no longer needed, symbolizing a journey toward healing and eventual closure of this chapter in Adrianna’s life.

  • [09:22Treatment Timeline and Future Wellness Plans
Adrianna shares that she is currently one-third into a 24-week chemotherapy regimen (eight weeks completed). She expresses hope to transition to alternative wellness clinics post-chemo to support her recovery with complementary therapies, including anti-cancer diets and systemic detoxification. Clinics mentioned include Optimum Health, the Munoz Clinic, and San Aviv in Mexico. This future plan is positioned as a holistic approach to complement traditional cancer treatments, aiming to bolster her immune system and overall well-being.

  • [10:18Support System and Environment
Adrianna emphasizes the importance of her “pyramid of support” based on Maui, where she lives surrounded by loved ones, natural beauty, and a nurturing climate. This setting provides emotional stability and practical assistance during treatment. She also highlights the companionship of her cat, which offers emotional comfort. The strength of this environment is presented as a critical factor in her resilience.

  • [10:46Managing Chemotherapy Side Effects and Supplementation
Adrianna reports a recent two-and-a-half-week chemotherapy delay due to illness but notes that subsequent treatments have not been severely debilitating. She attributes this to a robust supplement regimen and homeopathic remedies designed to mitigate side effects, reflecting a proactive and integrative approach to managing her health during treatment.

  • [11:15Guided Writing and Meditation for Clarity and Healing
Adrianna shares insights from recent guided meditations and writings, which have provided her with clarity and direction about her journey. A significant meditation helped her decide to stay in Maui and continue her current course despite challenges. Although illness temporarily halted her sharing, she is now ready to open up about these spiritual experiences. She mentions a 40-day spiritual practice commitment with a friend, aimed at overcoming morning lethargy and resistance to routine spiritual activities.

  • [13:1040-Day Spiritual Practice and Guidance
A guided writing reading emphasizes the importance of establishing a peaceful, easeful daily routine during Adrianna’s healing phase. It encourages her to find an “accomplishment partner” to help maintain focus and accountability for her goals. Key healing allies are identified as sunlight, breath, and gratitude, foundational practices that support physical and spiritual well-being. The message stresses patience and intentionality, inviting Adrianna to allow her healing community and programs to develop naturally without pressure or deadlines.

  • [16:10Community Outreach and Upcoming Events
Plans for community engagement are outlined, including offering a holiday-themed program as a community service outreach. Potential involvement as a guest presenter at Temple of Peace services and hosting a half-day retreat at a local healing center are discussed. These initiatives are framed as opportunities to share spiritual practices, deepen community connection, and provide healing support to others.

  • Relaxing Hawaii vacation, Maui Neutral Zone, peaceful island retreat in Maui, Hawaii.

[17:06Spiritual Practice as a Process of Transformation
The guidance acknowledges the challenges of maintaining spiritual focus amid distractions and physical limitations, describing the practice as a “tapas” or cleansing fire that burns through natural tendencies toward distraction. This process of engaged practice is where healing “magic and miracles” arise. Adrianna’s 40-day program with Soraya is described as a collaborative friendship and spiritual support system critical for her continued growth.

  • [18:05Manifestation and Divine Will
Adrianna is beginning to grasp fundamental principles of manifesting her healing reality through intention aligned with divine will. The guidance encourages her to recognize and appreciate her progress and the partnerships that are supporting her journey. This segment reflects a deepening spiritual awareness and trust in the healing process.

  • [18:31Reflections on Mother’s Passing and Spiritual Connection
A sensitive spiritual message addresses Adrianna’s mother’s transition, describing her as being “betwixt and between” worlds. Though physically unresponsive, her soul remains aware and connected, grieving and releasing the physical form while embracing the heavenly realm. Adrianna is encouraged to maintain spiritual communication through prayer, presence, and ritual, such as keeping a heart flame candle burning for ongoing connection. The message reassures that her mother is not leaving her sister alone and that their bond persists beyond physical separation.

  • [20:27Invitation to Spiritual Community and Practice
Adrianna invites viewers to participate in “Being With,” a group spiritual practice designed to nourish direct soul connection and provide communal support. Events will be posted online, creating opportunities for collective healing and spiritual growth. This ongoing practice reflects Adrianna’s evolving professional focus, which has shifted from career ambitions to simply “being” and sharing her authentic self amid life’s challenges.

  • [21:25Closing and Gratitude
The final remarks express gratitude to the audience for accompanying Adrianna on her journey. She extends an open invitation for communication and mutual support, emphasizing the shared human experience of healing and presence. The segment closes with a warm “Aloha and amen,” underscoring a spirit of love, acceptance, and interconnectedness.

00:00

We don’t call this the chemo cafe for nothing. The star of our show, I would say begrudgingly, but here we are, is beautiful and wonderful Adrianna. Adrianna has been challenged with…

00:14

cancer that she’s been, I say, overcoming through chemotherapy. And she’s led us into her life at a very personal and intimate time to share her feelings and share her experiences through this whole period. And thank you for that, Adrianna. You’re welcome. It helps me to feel connected and not feel so alone. And when I got my diagnosis for ovarian cancer, I was just about to

00:42

kind of take off into a trajectory with writing and teaching and healing and speaking and doing all kinds of stuff and a new career and so it was really exciting so it’s temporarily got derailed so I’m gestating that material but really have no energy to focus on it but what I do have energy to focus on is my own healing and then documenting the process so it can be supportive and helpful to others

01:11

sometimes entertaining, hopefully sometimes funny. I haven’t felt that funny lately, but that comes through. Last show that we did was a couple of series of videos where we were at your birthday party and that was really a wonderful experience because so many people came out and shared how much they love you and how important you are in their life and

01:37

That was a really beautiful expression of that. And I mean, you have a couple of segments you guys will see up there. One where you were talking about your mom. And I know that’s a sensitive subject you’re going to get into here today a little. Yeah.

01:53 Peaceful woman with dreadlocks meditating at Maui Neutral Zone Calm space in Hawaii.

And then also you had friends like Nirja, who took words from everyone and created a beautiful song in honor of you, which was really nice. Yeah, it was really fun. And then Kedar did a beautiful song for you, which is also up there.

02:10

And that was a wonderful experience. I’m sure for everyone there, it was a really bonding, beautiful experience. You are golden. I, you know, got the intuition that it would be good to have a birthday celebration this year, partly because I do love gatherings, and also because I really do feel like it’s a time when I want to bring people into my life, and I’ve been fairly isolated, being home a lot. I’m just actually recovering from a full six weeks of

Man and woman sitting on a beige couch in a cozy, tropical-style room with lush greenery and wooden decor.

02:40

pneumonia. That really got me down. I mean, cancer, in a way, the side effects of the cancer are nothing compared to what it feels like to have pneumonia. So, it’s really difficult, really debilitating, and I was pretty weak. So, I missed a few weeks of chemo cafe, just because of that. So… How are you doing? I mean, obviously, you know, there are certain barometers. But now, from what you’ve made me understand,

03:06

The things that are indicators of cancer are low. Yeah, they’re really low. So we’ve been marking the process since just before I had my cancer surgery. It was 215, CA-125 in the blood. Now it’s all the way down to 14. So that feels really good. After the surgery, it was 25. Then it went down to 18, then 15, then 14. So all good things. And what is normal?

03:34

They haven’t really actually said. Most people, when they’re tested, don’t have zero. They might have five, even if they’re not diagnosed with cancer. There’s just tiny little cancer presences in the system of everyone. It’s just whether it gets out of hand or not, which mine did temporarily. But fortunately, I feel like I’m, you know, mostly healthy now and, you know, 10% I’m battling a serious illness still.

04:03

That being said, I do have some, you know, real challenges like energy and mental clarity. And, you know, just getting a day together is a lot more than you think because, you know, just getting that morning smoothie and the supplements that I need can be an effort. I’ve got to budget my time, so that’s part of what’s going on. So we’re sending out a new angel team letter so if there’s people in the area that might want to,

04:33

If you have assistance, I’m looking for all kinds of things from food prep to shopping and driving me around and spending time with me. Just doing certain things around here with me or on your own. Spending time with you is always a pleasure. People love the time that they spend here, so I’m happy. Do we want to give them the number and make it easy for them? What’s the phone number now?

04:56

870, is that the one to give them? Yeah, yeah. Area code 808, 870. 8168. 8168, 870-8168. And later we’re going to talk about ways that you can contribute if you want to give some help to Adrianna. We have some unusual and unique stories.

05:15

things to talk about a separate segment because today we want to get talking about what’s going on in your personal world yeah things you’d like to share i want to share um so what i’ve been dealing with some of you know is my mom’s been sick in and out of the hospital for the past couple of months and in between the rehab hospital and the regular hospital and um after a while my aunt found out that she was actually eligible to

05:41

go into hospice, even though we weren’t sure she was passing or not, quickly, but at least gave her a place to rest and get out of the craziness while still being in the hospital wing. It was much more kinder, gentler. And from the day that we got interviewed, she got in that evening, and she got in so much peace, and she just felt so much better. And yet, at the same time, it was clear that over time, over a short time, she just

06:11

mind rapidly and kind of settled into the fact that it was actually her time to leave. So I just got a call a couple of hours ago that she’s in the hospital now, but she’s going into a coma and she probably won’t live the night. So, you know,

06:40

I just wanted to be here with you and share even that, you know, and not hide it. The doctors all said that I shouldn’t go, you know, having pneumonia and being so weak, you know, weak in condition, and it’s hard, you know, but in a way it’s a lot easier dealing with it from here. But, you know, largely my sister is there to handle things, and we do have some really close family.

07:09

and they’ve been mostly available, and here at the end, there’s reasons why they’re actually less available, but I’m just so with her in spirit, and Gloria Leibowitz, we just wish you all glory. We honor and love you, and may this be a gentle passing, no struggle, and I hope that you know we all are here in our hearts for you.

07:38

Just know that. Oh, gosh. I feel very loved and supported. And I take that in and I let myself receive it. It’s been such a rebalancing time. Give, give, give, do, do, do. Receive some to full-time prescription of receiving. And so it’s a learned process. It’s a learned practice.

08:07

It’s really part of my medicine and part of my rehab in a way is to receive. So maybe another show I’ll dedicate to receiving and how we can all become better receivers. I have all these ideas for good shows, but when it comes to the shows, I just

08:25

I’m tired or whatever, and I’m just doing the best I can. And you’re doing great. Like I say, I know that being here with you and sharing it like you do is a blessing to all of us. And when you’re looking out at the camera, you can know that there are hundreds and thousands of people that are out there sending you blessings, and hopefully that’s part of the contribution toward you getting better, because that’s what we all want.

08:52

And like I know, I hope to do chemo cafes until we don’t need to do them anymore. Wouldn’t that be great? Yeah. Exactly. Yeah, we’re looking at a beginning of March for my finished time. So you’ve been in this chemo process? One-third, yeah. You’re only one-third in? Yeah, so it’s 24 weeks, so I’ve done eight. And is it possible that as we’re able to raise capital that you can

09:22

go to a different kind of a chemo? Is that what we’re hoping? No. What I want to do is now I’m raising the money so that as soon as I’m done with my traditional chemo, I can go to some of these high-level wellness clinics that do deal with cancers, but from a now really super bolstering my system up, living on an anti-cancer diet, but really cleaning out from the chemotherapy. You can either go to Optimum Health,

09:50

or go to the Munoz Clinic or one of the special clinics that they have dedicated to help people to boost up either during or after their process. San Aviv in Mexico is another really good one. So we’re doing a little bit more research over time. I’ve given up the research, though. For now, I’ve got my plan. My guidance told me very clearly I’m in my pyramid of support here on Maui.

10:18

And this is where I’m staying, and this is where I’ll go through all the treatments. So I have the most support here on every level, from the island itself and the energy and the beauty and the climate to these wonderful dear friends and loved ones that, you know, are taking care of me. It’s very nice. And I have my own home here and a kitty. So that all really helps. The kitty’s a wonderful, wonderful friend.

10:46

He is. He’s a really great little guy and just a super-duper companion. So he’s over there, but he might come over in a little while. He’s prone. So I had to skip chemotherapy for two and a half weeks. I had to push it off, but I’ve had it the past couple of weeks, and it hasn’t, you know, debilitated me. I take a homeopathic remedy that’s supposed to guard against the negative effects, and I have a huge supplement program that I’m on, and that’s…

11:15

helping me as well. Good, good, good. So I think that’s good. Would you like to do a reading this week? Yeah, I would. You know, it’s interesting. When I got a very clear meditation, when I was really conflicted between whether I was going to stay or go, I very deepened meditation and I got clarity to stay, but I also got a guided writing that morning as well.

11:44

I didn’t type it out like I usually do, and I didn’t share it the way I usually do. It was a pretty powerful one, and it gave me some real guidance and direction. But I noticed that’s right when I got the pneumonia, and then everything kind of stopped. And it wasn’t until probably a week ago when I really realized that I needed to convert that over, you know, start sharing it, open it up. Now, I happen to get another guided writing this morning, so I’m going to read that one.

12:13

instead but maybe i’ll go back on the next time i’ll share that with you because talked about a unique process that i’m to guide people and just hold space for called being here and i look forward to sharing that with everybody i’m going to come and get you a little bit closer on screen all right okay

12:41

cafe part of the chemo cafe I have a 40 day program that I agreed to with a good friend of mine we were both commenting on how even though we have time in the mornings we don’t always sit and do our spiritual practices and that there’s been some kind of resistance to that or some

13:10

lethargy or not feeling able to in the mornings. So we both committed to doing every day till the end of the year and checking in with each other on that. So not incongruent, whatever that word is. No incongruity there. It was interesting that I guided writing this morning. And so I’ll just share it with you.

13:39

Adrianna, come into the great peace as we take your hand this day. Scheduling and accomplishments have been sketchy lately as you are just emerging from your shadow time of illness and limitations. Ideas are good, writing down and then having somebody good to go over them with you, your accomplishment partner.

14:10

online or in person, they help you and others focus on your intended outcomes. So I’m looking for an accomplishment partner. Find your ways now to be easeful, peaceful and useful within the scope of your own privacy and constriction of this healing time. Sunlight, breath and gratitude.

14:40

These are important daily allies to bring in the vibrations of healing you are intending now. These simple practices are at once foundational and relaxing for you, a necessary component for setting you up for your best results. Remember… No, we’re okay.

15:10

Can we stop it for just a second? Sure. Okay. So these simple practices are at once foundational and relaxing for you and necessary component for setting you up for your best results. Remember, you still need a well-being manager, that person who holds your program in its many facets and the implementation strategy.

15:41

These people and video help will be positions that you can advertise for in the Thanksgiving Angel Team letter and the expanded letter. For now, do not worry about times and deadlines. Your Being With program is gestating and just wants you to meet it with consciousness and intentionality to allow the graceful unwrapping of this community gift.

16:10

Do one program around the holidays that you can offer and commit to as a community service outreach. Schedule the day time and place and be bold in your allowing others to access it. Perhaps being a Temple of Peace guest presenter for their Sunday services and an afternoon practice period. I’m in the process of working that out and it will either be December

16:36

5th or I think it’s the 19th we’ll let you know and see what comes from there in early December by the feedback you may be encouraged to do a half day retreat at one of the local healing centers for now engage in this process for yourself there is the heat the tapas of spiritual practice that you feel as you apply yourself that is what it is for

17:06

to burn through natural tendencies and distractions and uncenteredness that you know so well. No worries, no worries, it’s a practice. But as you practice, you engage, and that is where the magic and miracles come from. Your 40-day program with Soraya is a natural pairing of friendship and spiritual intention and support. Check in regularly for progress reports.

17:36

Taking all this into account, you are doing well. Partnerships are fruitful at this time. Engage them. Follow your guidance through checklists and partner progress reports. Do not take anything for granted, including your progress. It’s your intention joined by divine will that is making all of this possible.

18:05

you are beginning to understand some basic fundamentals of manifesting. So that was the guidance that was given to me. And then I got a short thing on my mother, so I wanted to share that also. Your mother is in the in-between place. She is betwixt and between as she loosens her grip on the earth existence.

18:31

and begins to trust the home she feels connected to in the heavenly realms. As she understands this process, even as she is surprised at her lucidity in the heavenly realm, she is grieving and understanding the release process of the physical. Your prayers and communications to her do reach her where she is now.

19:01

So do feel free to continue her lack of responsiveness here in the physical now is no indication of her abilities to hear and understand in the metaphysical. Your job is done with her and she now sees a lot of what you have always known and been talking to her about. The bond with your sister is tender.

19:31

And she wants her to know that she is not leaving her alone when her body drops from sight here. Meryl’s instructions are to keep a heart flame candle burning for her always upon her home in a pink glass candle. And mom will gather around the light for regular communication with her and just have her blanket there.

19:58

Perhaps in your bedroom by the rocking chair and engage in comfort and comfortable connection and conversation. How your day is, what you need, and appreciation and love. The greatest gift is understanding and connection to the soul while we’re still embodied. As spiritual practices abound, it is for you to find those one or two which give you the most feeling of connection.

20:27

making them your foundation practice. This is important for in our busy lives, we only give so much time to engage directly our spiritual life. Being with is a group practice dedicated to providing a place and a focus and to be with our spiritual intent and our direct soul connection. While a group practice is designed to touch each person,

20:55

each soul directly and provide food and nourishment towards our soul-life connection. Come once or several times and events will be posted at AdriannaGrace.com and on Facebook. Through a diagnosis of ovarian cancer earlier this year, I shifted my professional focus and now I’m just here being a person in this world, sharing the process.

21:25

hopefully creating some value along the way. And I give thanks for you are watching this and for being with me on my journey. Please feel free to be in communication about your own. I’m here for you too. Aloha and amen.
