Summary & Timestamped Transcript Below…

The video transcript captures a rich spiritual discourse interwoven with music, stories, and teachings centered around themes of surrender, love, healing, service, forgiveness, and resurrection. It opens with a musical invocation urging connection and mutual support within family and community. The speaker emphasizes the power of surrender—not as passive resignation but as a conscious release of ego and self-centeredness to allow divine guidance and infinite intelligence to lead one’s actions and words. This surrender is portrayed as essential for healing and spiritual growth, enabling individuals to transcend personal struggles and embody sacred service.

The teachings highlight the continuous practice of aligning with divine love, using Jesus as an exemplar who balanced prayer, meditation, surrender, and active service. A poignant example is shared about a couple who, through faith and surrender, responded to a call to serve in an African hospital despite no prior experience, illustrating how sacred service can manifest unexpectedly and powerfully when one is open.

The transcript also explores the transformative power of forgiveness and love in the face of betrayal and hardship. The story of Carl, an elderly man who responds to repeated abuse from local youths with compassion and generosity, exemplifies how unconditional love can heal and transform even the most challenging human interactions and environments.

Further, the video draws on the metaphor of Easter—the resurrection and the empty tomb—as a symbol of hope, renewal, and the potential to overcome loss, disappointment, and apparent defeat by trusting in divine power and love within. The spiritual journey invites participants to recognize moments of “crucifixion” in their lives and choose forgiveness over resentment, leading to personal resurrection and awakening.

The transcript closes with communal singing, prayer, announcements about community activities, and an invitation to continue living in the spirit of resurrection and peace. The overall message is one of radical love, spiritual awakening, and the active embodiment of heaven on earth through service, forgiveness, and faith.

Key Insights

  • [02:00] Surrender as Spiritual Practice: Surrender is not about passive defeat but an active, conscious choice to dissolve self-centeredness and open oneself to infinite intelligence. This allows divine wisdom to guide one’s words and actions, reducing worry and enabling healing. The practice requires continual deepening and is exemplified in the life of Jesus, who balanced prayer and sacred service. This insight underscores that spiritual growth is a dynamic process, demanding real-world application beyond ritual or pleasant feelings.
  • [05:20] Impact of Thought on Physical Reality: The water experiment from Japan demonstrates that human consciousness and intention physically affect the molecular structure of water. Positive, loving thoughts create beautiful, harmonious patterns, whereas negative, angry thoughts disrupt them. Since the human body is largely water, this insight highlights the profound influence of our emotional and mental states not only on ourselves but also on the environment. It calls for mindfulness in everyday interactions, recognizing that spiritual practice is lived moment-to-moment, even in mundane frustrations.
  • [08:30] Faith-Driven Service Can Transcend Limitations: The story of the retired couple who responded to a call to serve in a struggling African hospital despite having no prior experience illustrates the transformative power of faith and surrender. Their journey from uncertainty to raising significant funds and assembling a team of experts shows that when individuals align their talents with genuine needs beyond personal gain, they tap into a greater flow of divine support and collective impact. This insight encourages viewers to trust in their unique gifts and be open to unexpected paths of service.
  • [11:30] ️ Betrayal and Crucifixion as Evolutionary Catalysts: The transcript reframes moments of betrayal, loss, and personal crucifixion not as mere suffering but as essential opportunities for spiritual evolution. Such experiences shatter the ego’s smallness and open the heart to compassion and deeper understanding. The key choice is how one responds—by indulging egoic reactions or by embracing forgiveness and love. This insight challenges viewers to see suffering as fertile ground for awakening and transformation, a perspective crucial for resilience.
  • [15:00] The Transformative Power of Unconditional Love: Carl’s story embodies how love and forgiveness can disarm violence and hatred. His persistent offering of kindness to those who repeatedly harmed him eventually led to profound change, including the redemption of one of the youths who cared for Carl’s garden for years afterward. This narrative illustrates that love is the most potent force for personal and community transformation, capable of breaking cycles of violence and fostering healing even in the most difficult circumstances.
  • [29:00] ✝️ The Resurrection Metaphor for Inner Renewal: The Easter story of the empty tomb is used as a metaphor for the spiritual journey through loss, disappointment, and apparent death of hopes or dreams. The disciples’ confusion and despair mirror human experiences of grief, yet the empty tomb signifies that death is not the final reality. This insight invites viewers to trust in the invisible presence of divine love and the transformative power within themselves to rise anew. It encourages faith beyond appearances and the cultivation of hope as a spiritual practice.
  • [39:00] Collective Vision and Generosity as Seeds of Utopia: The closing reflections emphasize that true spiritual practice manifests in collective vision and generous action aimed at creating a harmonious, abundant world. This vision includes seeing every child nurtured and all people living in peace. The call to conscious giving and faith in this vision is a reminder that spiritual awakening is not individualistic but deeply connected to community and global well-being. This insight underscores that living the resurrection means actively participating in the co-creation of heaven on earth.

The transcript is a powerful blend of spiritual teachings, real-life stories, scientific insights, and communal celebration. It invites a shift from ego-based living to surrender, forgiveness, and sacred service, illustrating how these principles bring healing and transformation individually and collectively. The Easter narrative provides a timeless framework for understanding how loss and resurrection are integral to spiritual evolution, and the personal stories ground these teachings in tangible, inspiring examples.

life your power that surrender so wonderful those of you who follow christ in miracles when that beautiful prayer and the praise america says i’m here only to be truly helpful i’m here only to represent the one who sends me and i don’t ever need to worry what i do or say of course that doesn’t mean i won’t worry what i do or say just because i don’t have to worry what i’ll do or say because there’s an infinite intelligence that comes with them they’ll tell me what to do and say

03:16
until you and me and we’re healed as we let that infinite love teach us to heal so surrender is a huge thing we sing it and i often realize as people are just having such a good time down in uni church and they don’t really hear what they’re saying i release i let go i let the spirit run my life and then they go out somebody takes their parking spot you would think no spiritual growth at all i’m only here for god except unless you don’t do something i like you know so here it is so we sing that no more

03:52
struggle no more strife with my faith i see this light this beauty i’m free you see that the game is freedom i’m free in the spirit and i’m only here for god so we surrender and it’s a step that we take and we deepen that ability to surrender and then if we look at jesus life you see there’s a continuous a flow between the practice of the presence through prayer meditation the practice of consciously aligning it to me i don’t do anything with the love of god tells me to do and

04:21
i’ll go anywhere for what the love of god sends me and sacred service so jesus is a continual practice and sacred service and we see this in all of the great teachings of all the great avatars surrendering listening hearing you know don ferguson was here maybe you know her she has this wonderful work children singing for peace she travels the world and records children in indigenous languages and many of the languages where there’s conflict going on on the planet beautiful children who get that they’re

04:50
here to sing peace and peace within brings peace without peace all over the world this wonderful song and she was with us a few weeks back and she shared something that i hope we heard let me repeat it because it was one of those if you ever go home you go wow you’re having those just yeah that’s it i’ve been thinking that i’ve been believing that but suddenly i get it so one of the things she shared was a study that’s been replicated but it was done originally by the japanese

05:20
and it’s about water and what they did was they took a group of people just regular ordinary people put them before a tub of water and charged up the water however scientists record those molecules and they have a group of people silently just send blessings think loving thoughts be appreciative be grateful and the water form these beautiful mandalas beautiful forms and shapes they have the same group of people with the same body water stand there in silence and begin to think angry vengeful

05:53
hurtful hateful thoughts now for some of you you wouldn’t be able to do it but there were some people on the planet that could actually still do that and so they used these people and and they checked the water and the water was jarred the forms were like fractals they weren’t blended together in these beautiful shapes now if you pause for just a minute you realize you’re 97 what water so as you’re driving down the road and you’re sending loving thoughts to the people you work with and

06:21
loving thoughts to the present united states and loving thought to the people on the planet when you’re driving down the road or walking into work when you’re greeting the people around you and you’re thinking positive pleasant thoughts what’s the energy running through your water your field you see why emerson said we’re endogenous beings we carry our weather with us and so it’s so important for us to really understand that the practice the presence isn’t how long you keep your eyes closed

06:49
and how long and how golden the light is when you’re sitting in a warm room with your legs in a lotus position it’s when you’re out there walking through the store and that person with those 14 coupons and no cash steps in front of you in the express line so that’s the moment when you get just how surrendered and how much you’re in the flow of spirit so it’s a practice it’s the practice of sacred service you know martin luther king said there’s a way to live on the planet

07:22
moment to moment as perpetual bliss does that appeal to anybody here perpetual bliss pleasure bless that inner sense of well-being he said basically you discover the gifts that you have and everyone in this room has everyone on the planet comes with them it’s part of your spiritual dna and then you give them into a real need on the planet give them to a real need not your own personal gain but a real need and you create an opening of flow i had a wonderful experience here some of you met a couple of my friends

07:58
a couple months ago a man and a woman a nurse who’s 60 and a doctor who’s 75. between them they have put 13 children through college and have 26 grandchildren and at 60 and 75 last year they bought a little plot of land in arkansas and they poured a cement slab and they prepared to build their little retirement home and my friend was sitting on her prayer bench as i taught her to do in unity basics one and she was sitting there and very openly to this spirit who’s blessed her so much that

08:29
god i’ve got these wonderful talents and my husband you know how would you like to use us thinking well maybe monday they do a day clinic because they’re in that anybody that’s rather poor maybe they’d go down and volunteer at the hospital a few days later the phone rings a call comes from africa there’s a hospital in africa that doesn’t have a roof hardly has running water has no doctors only a couple beds most of them don’t have mattresses every growth in the place leaks no

08:59
medications no money and no funding and it’s right in the heart of the company aids epidemic well that wasn’t exactly what they were thinking in fact she remembers very clearly that every time i taught unity basis one every time i said that i really had trouble with that surrender thing because i just knew if i surrendered god would send me to africa well a god isn’t sending me to abraham god’s sending paula and danny lobster but here’s what i want to share with you last september

09:36
when i met them in kansas city where they had finally said yes they got the call late last spring they finally said yes and i met with them in september they’ve never raised a dime in their life they’ve gone on several missions where they’ve gone into third world countries and they’ve learned in eight months how to make and how to create a 403c volunteer thing they have update almost raised over 300 000 of the 2 million it will take for 5 years they have doctors on board they have the leading solar scientists on the

10:03
planet going there to put in a system that will let them purify their blood they have nurses coming and they have training coming eight months after they said yes with no background no training the reason i share this with you is because they stayed with me and they took a little eight day r r and came over and a frequent flyer ticket just kind of like it was kind of daunting like one day they were retired and the next day they’re in this huge project they will serve 200 000 people that have

10:32
no medicine and no doctors imagine that and uh for eight days i experienced the happiest people i’ve ever been around they got every day with a song in their heart they got up every day on the computer figuring out how this works every day was joyous every day was learning and the sunday they came in gary zucker was sitting in the service and he put them on his world wide web and that’s just the way their life has been because i hate to bring it up among friends because it was going so good today

11:01
we were having such a good time right but in case some of you were in it now because sometimes your life doesn’t exactly go with the flow of the liturgical season there’s a thing called betrayal and crucifixion and i pause on that because i really want us to hear today the evolutionary potency the divine possibility in those betrayals and crucifixions in our lives in fact i dare say without some of the betrayals in our lives most of us in this room would never have reached the full potential of what we’ve

11:30
come to be because when our heart is shattered open the potential the potential to be all that we can be to move into a bodhisattva position to be a person of compassion and great understanding is in um what is the word exponentially expanded if and here’s the if if at the moment of the disappointment the loss the betrayal rather than going the way of the personality of the ego which is self-pity resentment revenge cynicism complaint there’s probably a few you have a few other ways that we slip right back into it it

12:12
shouldn’t be that way that kind of self-righteous indignation i love this people on spiritual path call me say i was so offended really was it when a child was molested was it when people were starving no it was when you went over 10 minutes at the sunny surface oh well i see your ability to be offended you can expand a little bit because you know if you really are going to waste being offended don’t you want to be offended for something people could really get behind oh you are behind it okay we’ll shorten

12:47
it up then okay right here all right well we want to understand what we want to understand is that we are at choice point for every moment in our lives and we tell the story of christmas and easter to remind us that the moment that you and i get that we are pure consciousness that at that moment we’re in the resurrection experience and from the resurrection we go to the illumination of the ascension the world needs us risen it needs us awake it needs us leaving behind the pettiness and the smallness

13:25
because all over the planet right now people are sitting in temples and sanctuaries and on hillsides and in homes and they’re waking up feeling this upward calm some of us may call it christ some of us may call it buddhism it’s called sometimes they call it the goddess rising but it is the infinite and as we surrender to it it will lead us it will lead us into anchoring heaven on earth we are literally playing for the planet right now there’s not many more generations there may not be another generation

13:58
it gets to decide whether it will wake up and open its heart and radically love and the energy that lets you move through the betrayals and move through the disappointments is an absolute total radical willingness to forgive to give for that seeming loss that seeming error something of the divine presence in you and if you can’t do it the holy spirit will help you do it if you’re simply willing to be willing to forgive to be willing to let love teach you there are miracles taking place i want

14:31
to share one of our friends moved to australia and i want to share a story that she sent me it’s a simple story but you know what this is really how heaven comes this really is how we’re transformed carl was a quiet man he didn’t talk much he would always greet you with a big smile and a firm handshake after he lived in our town for over 50 years we realized we didn’t know him very well before his retirement he took a bus to work every day and he would come home every day we often saw him limping the

15:03
story was that he had a bullet wound received in world war ii and we worried about him because the community in which we lived was changing there were thugs and there were drugs and there was violence and there was gang activity but one summer in his eightieth year he saw a flyer in our local church they wanted to put in a garden behind the minister’s home and without fanfur a carl simply took it upon himself for seven years he manned this beautiful garden he was well into his 87th year from when what

15:37
we had feared happened a group of gang members came up above upon him three young men and as they attempted to intimidate him carla simply offered them a drink of water from his house the tallest and the toughest looking of the three said well sure yeah right and as carl offered the host to him the other two grabbed carl’s arms and threw him down as the host snaked crazily over the ground dousing everything in his way carl’s assailants took off with his retirement watch in his wallet carl tried to get himself

16:11
up but he thrown down on his bad leg it was a while before the minister could get there to help him he’d seen what had happened but he’d been in an upstairs room and got down there after the attack carl are you okay the ministry asked are you hurt minister kept asking as he held carl to his feet carl just passed a hand over his brown side shaking his head boy i hope those kids wake up someday his wet clothes clung to a slight frame as he begged to pick up the hose and he adjusted the nozzle again and

16:42
started to water confused and a little concerned the minister said carl what are you doing i’ve got to finish my watering so carl it’s been very dry lately and carl completed his task a few weeks later the three returned just as before their threat was unchallenged carl once again offered them a drink of water this time they didn’t rob him they simply wrenched the hose from his hand drenched him head to foot with the icy water when they had finished their humiliation of him they sauntered off down the road

17:12
throwing their heads back with curses and cat calls and falling away that you’re each other just laughing at what they’ve done they came one more time and once again carl offered them water before they doused him and threw him down carl that summer learned how to love and kept loving those boys even after that the summer quickly faded into fall and carl was doing some telling when he was startled when one of the young men came back to him the young man said don’t worry sir i’m not going to hurt

17:44
you this time i haven’t been able to sleep and i wanted to give you back the money and the wallet and the watch carl said i don’t understand i said well i learned a very important lesson when you didn’t fight back when you just kept offering us water when you didn’t hate us for hating you i couldn’t sleep at night i couldn’t stand it after an awkward moment not knowing what more to say the young man simply handed in the stuff and walked away it was a cold winter that year and carl

18:19
died in late in his 87th year many people attended his funeral including the young man the minister was sharing about carl’s garden and he said always do your best make the garden as beautiful as you can we will never forget carl or his garden several weeks later a sign went off a flyer that said person needed to care for carl’s garden for several weeks the flyer went unnoticed and finally the young man knocked on the minister’s door and asked i think there’s a job for me if you let

18:53
me do it the young man for over seven years cared for carl’s garden during those seven years he went back to college he got married and became a responsible member of his community but he never forgot the promise that he made to care for carl’s garden to make it as beautiful as he could one day he approached the new ministry told him he wouldn’t be able to care for the garden anymore his wife had just had a baby boy and he needed to stay home and care for his son that was great said the minister was his

25:27
gates divine doors were born and all the windows fastened down i spent the night in sleeplessness [Music] would find the soldiers breaking through and so we invite the holy spirit to look deep within our lives this morning to notice any place in our own lives where doors have been barred where windows have been fastened shut where fear is ruling the day this is an opportunity for each of us to notice any places within us where there’s still anxiety or fear or hurt to explore what is the tomb of our own

26:34
personal sorrow our own personal woundedness it keeps us still stuck in the illusion of separation to explore the places of hurt and old pain that still blocks us from remembering that god’s love god’s triumphant power is this day present in us let this be the day that together we say it is finished it is done and just before the sunrise i heard something at the wall the gate began [Music] expecting stories and torches for the sound of soldiers [Music] [Music] as she told us [Music] the been rolled away

28:17
[Music] [Music] now on that first easter morning over 2000 years ago it was still dark when mary magdalene arrived at the tomb and saw that the stone hadn’t rolled away when she looked into the tomb she saw that the tomb was empty she ran to tell the other disciples that the body of jesus was gone she told peter and faith and john they have taken our lord away [Music] imagine for just a moment you are one of the disciples you’ve seen the one that you loved the one that carried the promise of the

29:14
future crucified you’ve seen the body laid in the tomb and now you hear the tomb is empty crucifixions come to us in many forms throughout our lives all of us have had great hope known great love and most of us have had moments in our lives when something we loved has died a dream we’ve carried in our heart has not come true perhaps the dream has disappeared before our very eyes this morning is a moment to pause an opportunity for each of us to notice how we react in those moments of loss

30:04
when it appears the hope is gone in these difficult and challenging moments have we learned yet to place our full faith in god and what happens in our lives when this faith is challenged when things don’t go the way we think they should when we feel we’ve been betrayed defeated what we hope for most is gone do we remember that we have a choice do you remember there’s a triumphant christ spirit within us all the tomb is empty this morning and sometimes in our own lives they appear empty

30:50
in those moments can you trust in love can you let love guide you comfort you and teach you [Music] [Music] [Music] i just turned to gold [Music] cause i’ve circumstances them it on our journey through earth circumstance and speculation will never lift us very high she’d seen her crucify him she watched him die and how often in her own lives we let appearances rob us of our faith destroy our home disturb our peace of mind jesus taught over and over just not this world by appearances believe in god

33:03
believe also in me and believe in the transforming power of the divine in you the greatest miracles of our lives come out of the very appearance of chaos in those moments of deepest loss when we choose to trust the promise taking our eyes off the appearance of us and we remember god [Music] [Music] just added [Music] and even if he was alive he would be the same suddenly the air was filled with strange and sweet perfect lights that came from everywhere [Music] his arms he raised me to my feet and as i looked into his eyes

35:20
