Yes, Mama presents a wonderful feast that happened at Bob Longhi’s restaurant in Lahaina. And it was called the Hemp Seed Feast. And it was a feast. It truly was a feast. It was, I think you’d say, the inspiration of Susie Osborne of Mauiana Magazine and the creation, the food creation of Poppy Morgan,

00:30

and Bob Longhi, but mostly Poppy, and Poppy had a lot of help in presentation and such, but all the Christians were here. Some wonderful people. Oh, yeah, he had a lot of help. And the staff at Longhi’s was wonderful. They were really terrific. We want to thank you a lot. You really helped a lot. The food was great, too, and you’re going to see… The food was delicious. Yeah, it was good. It truly was a feast. And we had a couple of people there, Chris Conrad and Roger Christie,

00:59

who are two activists in the hemp movement, were there and speaking. There’s another show that’s called the Long East Hemp Seed Feast that John Graham shot along with me that we’re going to be showing as a separate hour program. But we’re going to give you a highlight today with 15, 20 minutes of some of the goings-on there, and you can watch that for other shows to see a more complete picture. Right? Yeah, we’re just going to whet your appetite a little bit.

01:26

In many ways. It really was terrific. I want to compliment Poppy and Susie and Bob Lange for a wonderful feast. I think that also it’s important that people take a look at these people as pioneers for a very important issue. As much as they’re having a feast, what they have to say and the message delivered is something for your consideration.

01:55

It absolutely is, because this is a product that can help us in many ways, I believe. And also tastes good. I think what I remember that really I thought was most interesting, if you take hemp seed and you crush it up, it’s very much like a spice. That was good, wasn’t it? It was really good tasting. It kind of tasted like, almost like a peanut butter, but not really. Yeah, remember on the artichoke? It was really good on the artichoke. Yum. And with the fish? Well…

02:26

You’ll see. There are some wonderful things that were done, and we’re happy to be part of bringing this to you. Mama loves to eat. Mama loves to eat. That’s a whole separate story. Well, thank you, Mama. Thank you, Ariel. And thank you for being here with us. And thank you all. We hope you enjoyed this. It was a lot of fun for us to bring it to you. Yeah. Please enjoy. Aloha. Aloha.

02:56

The great savers, the inventors, the working people of America, the people who don’t have anything, they’re the ones who came through and started producing the products that have shown us really the breadth of what’s possible by the development of this plant. And more than anything else, I have to say, it’s the can-do American attitude which has come through on this. Because in a lot of countries around the world, hemp was never banned, but the people failed to advance forward with the technology to take advantage of it, to develop this crop.

03:25

but it was focusing on the environmental application to the plant in terms of industrial productivity. And over in Germany, well, I have to say the Germans are very much into moving forward with the research and development. They have a lot of products that are out of hemp. They’ve also got water filtration systems using hemp-filled fiber to remove particulates. They’re using hemp as a program to remove heavy metals out of the soil and restore the soil.

We have had many requests for the following show to be aired. This is A Long Way to Dance by Prema and the Ladies. Please enjoy.

13:16

Rinpoche, I wanted to say that when you came to Mali the first time I met you in 84, you gave an empowerment of great fire. Shortly after that, several women started to imagine her dancing, as if she was dancing with the hills. And we wondered what kind of magic that’s doing sprinkles. So we asked Lama Khenzhen, please, can we put something together? And so the dance.

13:45

was born. And even though it was rather rough, when you came the next time, we offered it to you. Not quite sure whether this was something we really ought to be doing. When we finished and we spoke, you said a few things that ended up being prophetic. One was that the dance would be taught all over the country.

14:14

And now thousands of women have danced this dance because you gave us that recognition that, okay, it’s okay, basically. And the other thing was, you told us that we would have a festival here. And now we have, for 10 years, celebrated the festival of the goddess Tara. So we feel very much grateful to you

14:43

It has been a tremendous inspiration in our lives. So when we knew you were coming, hoping that we wouldn’t torture you too badly, we sincerely wanted to just offer it to you because it has meant so much to us. Correct. Let it be the offering to all the people in South Korea. So it is. So it is. Dancers, please stand.

15:17

Thank you.

15:47

The reigning goddess is above us, pouring her light upon us. We prepare to enter her mandala. The ordinary world falls away.

16:12

I bow at the feet of the Lord. I bow at the feet of the Lord. I bow at the feet of the Lord. I bow at the feet of the Lord.

16:39

I pray that you come, my God, I pray that you come, my God, I pray that you come.

16:56

We bow before you, Lord Jesus Christ. We bow before you, Lord Jesus Christ. We bow before you, Lord Jesus Christ.

17:11

We honor his hours of strength and might. He gives away his hands, his gifts, and his offerings. He confesses all wrongs and misdeeds to make us kind. With divine power and significant devotion, we rejoice in the rich grace and merit of God. Amen.

17:38

Be still, God, we are waiting to see you. As my deeds are calling, I’m calling. Stay with us till we have the time. Your compassion saves all from the sea of suffering. Stay with us till we have the time.
