and we’re back hi aloha and you’re having a show tomorrow tomorrow we are doing a show at two o’clock to 4 30. we’re going to do a show with jim kimmel reverend jim kimmel many people have seen him reading the urantia book onto the tv screen and we’ve been doing some interviews but we thought live calling would be fun but tomorrow we’re going to simulate and have people out there watching the show and calling in the urantia book u-r-a-n-t-i-a a ranch a book is that part of a
religion it’s a book it actually jim thinks of it as the fifth epic revelation okay and uh it’s you’ll see but it’s focused around jesus who we already know and uh so is it more of an a debater no no it’s going to be an interview i’m going to have people ask questions and such like that okay we also have a a fire ant project we have a maui major species fire ants yeah we’re going to be playing the entire movie the entire 30 minute documentary sunday and saturday 1 p.m
saturday and sunday friday at 7 30. do we have blue yet do we have graphics for that that’s a good thing to have graduates for yeah we have a problem sunday at 1 p.m um oh we have one more wednesday friday oh good we got them blue though this is nope okay so anyway when we get lou back he is going live from um nka the bridge that they just fixed in north kihere by villas and maui lou that whole way is like a wash way is an ancient channel for water but when it rained really heavy it washed out the dunes and it makes it
like a river so that’s where i live from there don’t look at the water not the rock i don’t see damage but impact of the rain don’t they have a drainage system that drains the right way that’s the issue yes i know it’s natural where is this one like just south of the mauilou yes just south like that dunes project was worked on for a lot of years and then they put the new bridge in huh there’s some opposition to it because of that the waterway yeah right well maybe maybe we’ll have lou coming in we’re
trying to wait for lou to come in but in the meantime tomorrow akaku is having a filmmaker coming an actual filmmaker from five to seven p.m to talk about filmmaking william gazette jackie he’s a documentary maker a lot of people think of him as like a conspiracy theorist but you know he actually is just really he considers himself more like a truth finder but he’s said to be really really conscious of of himself and the role of human beings in the world um so i from what i hear his whole goal is to raise awareness
about things to raise the consciousness of the people and um yeah that’s kind of what his movies go together well that’s going to be great well he’s going to be here from five to seven we are going to be live from that oh tomorrow 30. oh that’s great but now we’re going to show a little bit we’re going to try and go to the trailer he has one about the vanishing of the bees and the other about crop circles yeah so let’s try and watch that and see if we can get lou back okay i think we get
lulay later yeah so let’s try and get the trailer yeah we got the clips ready here we go there we go no no nobody’s coming what is god intending to bring out of this situation if we do our part as his servants the government does their part as whoever they are in the plan of god what is it that god plans to bring out of it that’s the way they thought we never went in we did not introduce fire into this compound it was not our intention that this compound be burned down i can’t tell you the shock and the horror that
all of us felt when we saw those flames coming out there it was oh my god they’re killing themselves those two men don’t know what i told them and they knew exactly what i meant and instead of coming up and and admitting to the american people right after the raid that they had made a mistake that the element of surprise had been lost that the agent had advised them that they knew they were coming instead of doing that they lied to the public and in doing so it just about destroyed a very great agency
i saw a truck come in and very long truck in the front then this long thing the second truck stopped and barely stopped and the man a man jumped out and all kind of whatever gear it was he had on and he had a gun in his hand he says okay boys then i heard a voice to the right of me downstairs i could tell was at the door then i heard a voice on the outside then i heard another voice inside and then i heard shots outside and when we drove up the davidians opened fire and i’m sickened by any other assertion
i sat there and i watched it and the gunfire came through those double white doors i watched it it’s unbelievable but that’s what happened and anybody else who says anything different they shot first and if i thought that an atf agent would drive up in front of a structure and shoot i’d throw my badge in the carpet it didn’t happen if the branch davidians intended to ambush those people with 48 machine guns and 50 caliber machine guns and they came up in unprotected cattle cars with
nothing but tarps on them they would have blown them away so that convinced us that they did not that is the davidians did not fire first i sat by that door for several hours i went in and out of that door 10 times and i saw the bullet holes on the door on the right side almost every bullet hole was an incoming round and what i mean by that it’s a metal door you could easily tell that the bullets were incoming rounds they were punched in i’m not the the marine expert that jack zimmerman is but i’ve been hunting since
i was 10 years old and i know a bullet hole when i see it and those were bullet holes that were punched in what is your name my name is um judy schneider koresh this is my daughter mynam and as you can see i was wounded when the atf came in and assaulted us i was quite surprised to see our government act the way it did in that david went to the door with his hands up and said don’t shoot there’s women and children in here and yet they opened fire and fired at everyone here what a powerful feeling we are back yeah
william gozeki if you can make it that would really be something to come to 5-7 pm tomorrow. 5-7 tomorrow in that film again that film we are going to be screening entirely sometime next week we’re going to wait for the show times but good good good that film will be on akkaku oh good after tomorrow so come down and meet the filmmaker learn about filmmaking this guy’s this guy’s legit he’s not just some indie guy he actually he has awards oh we have oh we have lou you guys are in for a treat now we’re
going down the key hey is well you know that used to have a lot of growth but no thunder did you notice that that was incredible there was lightning but no thunder that was incredible so i what were we showing on the beach we’re showing that the dunes is getting extra water runoff we’re showing basically that the that little water wave now overflowed i remember when that was filled with the mangroves and d larsen had a group of kids getting in and cleaning out all the mangroves because the whole thing was completely
clogged up yep yeah it was really funny so where are we going why don’t we go to the i think we’re going to go to the mil races the maui into scholastic league had more yeah they’re right now i think so let’s go and see what they were doing but let’s take a look at that it was a really beautiful day saturday january 11th for the third now mil regatta starting out with varsity girls 2 four canoes on the water with kamehameha on the inside lane king k khalike pulled out ahead to take
first place for girls varsity 2 followed closely by king kamehameha baldwin high pulled in for third so is ke khalike kamehameha baldwin and then maui high for the boys varsity two baldwin had an unofficial boat on the far outside lane that tried a new starting technique with a running start baldwin high school official boat was in lane 1 with maui high in lane 2 and seabury hall in lane 3. coming into the finish seaberry hall was officially the first boat across the line followed by maui high and then baldwin
so again seabury hall came in under four minutes with maui high and baldwin for the varsity mix 2 crew we had seven boats on the water maui high in lane one lahaina luna in lane two and maui high in lane three and coming into the finish on the outside lane seabury hall took first place followed by kamehameha and then closely trailed flying the ama is lahainaluna in third place so for the varsity mix 2 seabury hall in first place kamehameha lahainaluna ke khalike baldwin maui high and in 7th place maui prep
for the girls varsity one seabury hall in lane one molokai in lane two kamehameha in lane three baldwin in lane four king k khalike in lane 5 and lahainaluna in lane 6. and it was a stroke for stroke battle seabury hall beating molokai coming in strong in lane 1. molokai second place and pulling in for third king ke khalike so again seabury hall molokai ke khalike kamehameha mahana luna and baldwin for the boys varsity two king k kalike in lane one seaberry in lane two maui high in lane three lahaina luna in
line four kamehameha lane five and baldwin in lane six after the turn baldwin commanding lead to take first place as they have all season seabury hall very closely behind second third place was kamehameha followed by lahainaluna and then king ke khalike for the final race the mix one seabury hall in lane one kamehameha lane two maui high lane three in lane five was baldwin lane six was lahaina luna and lane seven was ke khalike seabury hall in lane one very nice stroking together took first place
followed by kamehameha and then third were the mix baldwin so with seabury hall taking first place kamehameha second baldwin and third ke khalike 4th lahainaluna 5th and maui high and 6th next week the regatta is at kalai pohaku in kihei come on down and support our youth well mill races are just too much fun yeah a lot of fun you gotta come down to the kihei i think they’re in kihei this week at the canoe beach yeah so go on down support our kids well your phone every time i look at your phone she’s got this new nokia
phone which is 40 megapixels which is i have an apple iphone which i think is eight the windows 8 phone wow that’s amazing it’s in a little holder for for picture taking when you took that thing of marty dredd down there in key hey and you got so close yeah real clear yeah you can see it so well you guys have a camera but it’s a phone if these guys if you guys can make it tomorrow it’s not often we get a documentary filmmaker like william gozeki he’s willing to spend some time
with he won academy award yeah and he’s on the and the board you’re gonna see we’re gonna show a couple of clips now from his stuff banishing of the bees and the crop circles these are very dynamic little shorts i say shorts they’re actually full-length movies or full-length movies but um even when i’m watching the clips i’m like wow you want to watch them now you know yeah i so i want to go meet this guy i do too and luckily we’re going to be live tomorrow oh that’s right you’re going to see them
live if you can’t make it tune in so here we go that’s it these things are footprints of intelligence a mutual exploration of what is possible possible to understand the message is to assume there might be a message the plants were beautifully swirled around as you can see it’s a 90 degree bend what makes crop circles it’s an impossible question there were scientists they were out there with all sorts of equipment they had cameras they had radar they had other measuring devices we’ve got a 25
minute gap where 140 circles appear i think we’re talking about other civilizations who are not based on earth it seems to locate where there’s water these shapes that we’re seeing were actually shadows of a higher dimensional object and i saw this object come into view we have on film this ball of light then it took off it might be supernatural i don’t know for sure and how do they get away with it how they got caught how they’ve done it they don’t practice there’s never a half
finish one no mistakes it’s just here and it arrived a few hours in perfect condition i started out making films with both a technical and a creative production background so i had experience in both the technical craft of sound mixing and the creative craft of record production and producing music and producing records so i felt i had a pretty good handle on the creative process side and on some of the technology essentially i began as an educational video maker and i was making short educational
films and the economics of it were such that i really had to do all the jobs i really couldn’t afford to budget a production and complete it without doing everything i had to write it i had to shoot it i had to edit it and i had to deliver it and also counsel with the client in terms of what they really wanted and realizing their vision realizing their their idea of what they wanted to get across and when i went from producing educational videos into documentary films i pretty much carried the same
pro forma with me into the documentary genre and kind of adapted myself to all the different jobs that there are i’ve always lived a life where i’ve been allowed and encouraged to do what i love and do what i want to do ever since i was a kid i’ve always been able to select my own classes or pick my own direction or in some way be an autonomous independent person so that has been sort of my lifestyle for all of my life so filmmaking is really to me one of the higher expressions of choice of choosing what you want to do
and doing what you love i do love what i do at this point it’s not as much a passion as it is a conviction it’s something that i am so entrenched in and so a part of that it’s just the momentum of my own life is the filmmaking process i think my favorite part of making a film is undoubtedly the post-production process the editing and the music and the piecing it together and shaping and molding the finished product i think that’s really where i have the most experience and where i have
over the years spent the most time in the editing chair it’s it’s somewhat of a meditative process it’s a long detailed complex process of self-reflection and really calls for a kind of objectivity and inner eye that is i think what makes the whole creative process of filmmaking satisfying yeah you don’t want to miss it you know i’ve seen this clip a couple of times and haven’t seen it yeah i’m really interested in this guy i want to see what he had to say good that’s good
yeah so i guess his friends love the country and that’s why he’s visiting well look who we have there is that lou’s house well that’s from lou’s house i guess wow clear skies no more rain it’s beautiful well today was really rainy it was really raining here it’s been raining all month well it’s raining as much as i can remember it sure has been yeah yeah probably will be all green up for for february or so that’s right for my family that’s right yes you know
family’s coming i need everything to be green for them oh it’s going to be green well mother nature getting married we’re going to i don’t know what we’re doing though let’s think about it what is that about they’re showing us the sky pretty that’s the junction thanks lou there’s some weird clouds going on though is that like war of the worlds there we go it’s those creatures got some fluffiness going on up there well i guess it’s i think it’s more interesting than
watching the gas station change its tanks swimming pools in our parking lot yeah yeah they ripped out all the tanks and then arranged them i like the in the background as like snowy wood scene yeah i don’t know what that i don’t i’m not quite sure what oh i thought that was just different i thought maybe you know that’s why we have all kinds of people that are learning yes we have a [ __ ] winter now well there we go there’s our webcam you want to control it and make it come
closer see if i can make it bigger oh look at that look at that i can do that there’s a tank that’s what a tank looks like going in there we go there we are what else is there to see let me see i think that’s it i don’t have the control over the other so i see a parking stall there’s one open try to move it around to the sunshine see what you can do can you move it yeah you could try no i believe we could put a garden up there that’d be good the hanging gardens of the chevron
station or shell or the shell what are they union 76 i don’t know that is but i know they’re ripping up their tanks and then a huge rainstorm came so now there’s more like swimming pools oh i know well it was just good timing yeah that’s what they get for being late on their own well it’s a tourist attraction yeah i’m sure the turrets are wondering what the heck it is but you know um we now have this is one of those rare times when we get a chance to just sit and talk yes we really would like to see
more of your involvement yeah and we want you to if on your phone on your iphone or your nokia or any of these phones you can shoot video of all kinds of things that are happening you can send it to us and you can come down and be part of what we’re doing here because public access really means you community right or questions or want to get involved go to that email email that questions answers whatever you need and we’ll try and get to you but yeah you know this is really communities you
know sure i adore my volunteers they’re hard working they’re committed we’re her volunteers they do need a break sometimes people they do need a break and we need more people feed us once a week at least tomorrow two o’clock if you’re in the area come on down be part of a call-in show this is a demo so we can hopefully get an evening show all right so more people can tune in aloha have a good day see you tomorrow respect this force that carries life all of life has spirit here
