AIRIELLE’S WORLD – Summary & Transcript Below…

[00:05 → 02:36] Opening Invitation and Introduction to the Show
The transcript begins with a poetic and metaphorical invitation to “open the door,” symbolizing an encouragement to embrace new opportunities, faith, and beginnings despite challenges. The repeated urging to stop knocking and simply walk through the door sets a tone of empowerment, hope, and personal responsibility in creating a fulfilling life. The “party’s going strong” and “all your new best friends are waiting” evoke a welcoming and supportive environment, inviting listeners to step into joy and belonging.

At 02:36, the host officially welcomes viewers to “Mama Presents Ariel’s World” and introduces a special guest, Pat Hastings. The host describes Pat as a “beautiful goddess” visiting from the mainland, noting her connection through Unity Church and her recently published book, Simply a Woman of Faith. This sets the stage for an intimate, faith-centered conversation focused on personal transformation and spiritual journey.

  • [02:48 → 06:39] Pat Hastings’ Journey to Becoming a Woman of Faith and Author
Pat shares how she embraced the title “a woman of faith” over nearly 40 years of spiritual growth and how a friend’s encouragement planted the seed to write her book. Initially hesitant, wrestling with self-doubt and fears of being unread or unworthy, Pat’s story highlights perseverance through insecurity. She reveals that writing her book took seven years, punctuated by periods of doubt and retreat, yet fueled by a spiritual calling to “finish the book.”

Pat’s turning point came when she shifted her mindset from “I’m not a writer” to affirming her identity as a writer and speaker. She created a tangible intention book filled with scriptures, affirmations, and images of herself speaking, which helped manifest her dreams. This segment underscores the power of faith combined with practical visualization and disciplined effort in overcoming internal barriers.

  • [07:08 → 09:27] The Power of Divine Timing and Miraculous Encounters
Pat narrates a recent experience where spiritual synchronicity led to invitations to speak at multiple churches, including a Catholic congregation and a Congregational Church, where the theme of faith perfectly aligned with her message. An especially poignant moment occurred during a church service when a young girl mirrored Pat’s spiritual dance, moving her arms in unison. This spontaneous, shared expression of faith moved the congregation deeply, illustrating the mysterious and beautiful ways spirit operates through connection and openness.

Pat emphasizes the importance of being open to receive spiritual guidance and blessings, acknowledging that feelings of unworthiness or “not enough” are common and ongoing challenges. She encourages listeners to catch and counter these limiting beliefs quickly, fostering a continual process of growth and healing.

  • [09:43 → 14:15] Inspiration to Write and The Miracle Blouse Story
The conversation turns to encouragement for aspiring writers and those with untold stories. Pat shares how her book has inspired others to step into their own creative faith journeys, highlighting a woman moved to write after hearing Pat’s message.

She then shares a powerful story from her book titled “The Miracle Blouse.” During a financially difficult period on welfare with four young children, Pat faced a dilemma: a beautiful blouse cost $10—the same amount she had, reserved for essentials. Listening to a still, small voice she identified as God’s prompting, she bought the blouse, trusting divine provision. That very day, she received an anonymous envelope containing $10 and a note signed “from the son of a carpenter,” symbolizing Jesus. This story exemplifies faith in action, divine timing, and the miraculous nature of trusting God’s voice, even when logic suggests otherwise.

  • [14:15 → 16:44] Listening to Spirit and Divine Protection
Pat shares a near-death experience where she was told by spirit to pull over just moments before a large truck narrowly missed colliding with her. This event reinforced for her the vital importance of listening intently to spiritual guidance in every moment. She stresses that such listening requires spiritual discipline: daily prayer, meditation, journaling, and quiet time to connect with the Divine.

The conversation acknowledges the challenge of cultivating stillness amid busy lives, with Pat describing herself as a “recovering busyaholic” who once avoided feeling her emotions. Now, she embraces the process of allowing feelings and beliefs to surface as part of healing and spiritual growth.

  • [16:44 → 22:05] Developing Spiritual Listening and Being of Service
The dialogue explores different forms of meditation and emphasizes the power of intention—proclaiming one’s openness to hearing and following spirit. Pat recounts a story from her college days where she was led to comfort a woman on the brink of suicide. By simply extending God’s love, Pat provided the encouragement the woman desperately needed to reclaim hope and healing. This moment exemplifies how being attuned to divine direction can transform lives.

Pat highlights that everyone has spiritual intuition—those nudges to call a friend or check in on someone—and encourages cultivating this skill to be instruments of God’s love. The conversation also touches on the sometimes surprising situations that arise when one prays to be of service, affirming that spiritual work involves openness to unexpected calls.

  • [22:05 → 28:26] Faith in Action: Moving to Maui and Manifestation
Pat shares a recent story about a woman she met in Rhode Island who invited her to stay in Hawaii, connecting with Pat’s long-held dream to live and work there. This invitation aligned with Pat’s intention book, which contained images symbolizing Maui. Pat describes how she took a leap of faith to come to Maui, even without a place to stay or job lined up, trusting that the right circumstances would unfold.

Her son’s cautious but ultimately supportive reaction shows how faith can ripple through family dynamics. Pat’s plans include speaking engagements on Maui and spiritual coaching, and she anticipates returning in January for an extended stay. This segment showcases faith as an active, ongoing choice to trust in divine timing and provision despite uncertainty.

  • [28:26 → 31:33] Overcoming Fear Through Faith and Healing
Pat reflects on the internal struggle with fear, noting that fear can block faith and that trust is essential. She shares her personal history of trauma, fear, and healing through therapy, workshops, and persistent spiritual practice. Her testimony is that faith is a daily, moment-by-moment journey that can break down overwhelming challenges into manageable steps—one day, hour, or even minute at a time.

The importance of positive thinking complements faith, with Pat recalling how reading Norman Vincent Peale’s works as a teenager helped shape her mindset. She candidly admits that fear still arises when stepping into bigger roles but stresses that courage is acting in spite of fear.

  • [31:33 → 34:28] Embracing Fear and Moving Forward with Courage
The hosts discuss the concept of “feeling the fear and doing it anyway,” acknowledging that fear should be acknowledged but not allowed to create limiting stories. Pat encourages releasing fear quickly to avoid reinforcing negative narratives.

Ariel, the host, shares her own inspiration to write a book, motivated by Pat’s example. Pat offers to support Ariel as a “book coach,” emphasizing accountability and encouragement. This exchange highlights the relational and motivational aspect of faith journeys—sharing stories can inspire others to step forward.

  • [34:28 → 36:45] Closing Encouragement and Contact Information
Pat concludes by sharing how deeply grateful she is for her journey and the opportunity to connect with Maui’s community. She invites viewers to engage with her through her website www.simplyawomanoffaith.com or by email for inspiration, book coaching, or opportunities to support her mission.

Her final message is one of unconditional divine love and encouragement not to give up, affirming that everyone has a unique and wonderful plan for their life. The segment ends with a heartfelt “Aloha,” expressing love and blessing to the audience.

  • [36:45 → 39:48] Closing Song: Invitation to Open the Door
The transcript ends with a reprise of the opening metaphorical song, reinforcing the themes of overcoming obstacles, embracing new beginnings, and stepping boldly into life’s beautiful possibilities. The repeated urging to “open the door” and “just walk on in” serves as a symbolic call to action for the audience to take faith-inspired steps toward their own growth, connection, and joy.

02:36

And welcome to Mama Presents Ariel’s World. And today I have a really, really, really special guest for you.

02:48

We have a beautiful, beautiful goddess that has joined us here. She’s visiting us from the mainland. Her name is Pat Hastings, and she is a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful woman. I met her at Unity Church, and she was speaking there about her book that she just wrote. It is called Simply a Woman of Faith.

03:14

Right? That’s right. That’s you. That’s me. That’s you. Tell them. I am a woman of faith and have been on this journey for almost 40 years, so I have a lot to share with you. She’s got a lot to share with everybody and lots of good stories. So tell me, how did you come to adopt that title, a woman of faith? I mean, you know, several years ago, probably 25 years ago,

03:43

a very good friend of mine said to me, Pat, you have to write a book because you have such faith stories. And it was, yeah, someday I’ll write a book, maybe when I retire or my kids are gone. But I kept the, her words to me were, you are the most faithful person that I know. So when I was writing my book and I prayed about the name of the book, that just like came to me, Simply a Woman of Faith. I love it. It’s a great title.

04:13

Of course, I too am a woman of faith. I know, that’s why we connected. That’s right. I spoke at Unity, and Ariel came up to me, and we were just mirroring each other, and she said, I want to have you on my TV show. That’s right. And of course, I was delighted and thrilled to share my story. Well, we’re delighted and thrilled to have you here. And I know all of Maui is delighted and thrilled as well, because…

04:41

they get to witness how beautiful and wonderful and glowing you are through your faith. You know what I mean? It does that. It does. It does. So how did you decide to take this journey and go out and greet people and talk in churches and what happened there? Well, certainly my book was the ticket, if you will, and

05:07

As I said, I knew many, many years ago that I was going to write a book because I just have all these wonderful, powerful stories of faith and how God has guided me and led me. I started writing my book about 11 years ago, and it took me seven years to write it. Guess why?

05:25

I didn’t believe in myself. I kept saying, nobody’s going to read it, I’m wasting my time. No faith, huh? Exactly, exactly. Yeah, I didn’t, I didn’t. I didn’t believe in myself. And then the warm and the faith stormed through? Yeah, well, I just kept, you know, persevering. I would write for a year, and then I would put it down for a year, and I would go on a workshop, and I would hear God say, I want you to finish your book.

05:53

And I would write again, and there were so many times when I went to bed crying because I said, I don’t know how to market. I don’t know how to be a businesswoman. All the not enoughs that so many of us struggle with. And finally, finally, finally, I finally said to God, you know, I’m willing to do it. And then I had to change my thinking. We know that that’s so important. Because if I kept saying,

06:16

I’m not a writer. Nobody’s going to read it. Well, that’s exactly what would happen. It would say inside of me. And when I changed my thinking to I am a writer, I am a speaker, I love speaking. She’s good, too. I just love speaking the miracles that have happened in my life. So I made myself a little intention book.

06:39

And that is a little photo book with all my intentions and scriptures and pictures of me standing at a microphone. And now it’s happening. Oh, cool. Yeah. That’s such a good way to do it. I know. It’s such a good way to do it. Put it out there, see it. Yeah. And then presto. And then it happens. And then it happens. But we have to see it on the inside. And that’s what faith is about. We do. Well, you know, it was really interesting today, the Daily Word. We have a little…

07:08

prayer book every morning, and today’s Daily Word was all about having faith. I started laughing, of course, because I was coming to interview Pat, and I said, okay, did those Daily Word people know that we were going to do this interview today? Well, I have a good story to share with you. One of the women who had come to Unity, and also I spoke at a Catholic church while I’ve been here, I’m here for a month,

07:35

I’m leaving in two days. But she had come to the both presentations and she was so inspired that she went and spoke to her leader, her minister of her church, it was a congregational church, and told her all about me. Well, the minister called me and checked me out and they switched their schedule

07:55

And I spoke on Sunday. Well, you must have felt important. Tell me about it. At the Congregational Church, and it was all, you know, my message was faith, of course, but their readings, which they had already prepared, was all about faith. Oh, I just love how the universe works. It’s amazing. God works in such wonderful ways. I know, and as I stood in the back of the church, and I greeted everybody as they came in and smiled, you know, they said,

08:25

They heard about me and that’s why they came. Then I have to tell you a magnificent story at the church. Oh good, we get a story. Another story. I did a dance in the beginning of the service and it was all about God calling you and saying yes and stepping out in faith. And doing, answering. Right. And as I was dancing, my arms were around and it was just very, very spiritual and powerful.

08:54

Well, I noticed out in the congregation there was a little girl about five years old

09:01

big hair, and she was doing the same movements that I was doing. So I went back and I grabbed her hand, and she came up with me, and she did everything that I did. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the place. It was so… How beautiful. You know, you couldn’t have planned something like that. No, they just happened. They just happened, yeah.

09:27

It’s that wonderful universe in action again. Absolutely. We have to be open. That’s what I teach because I’m a spiritual life coach and a speaker. What I teach is that we need to be open to receive.

09:43

And so many of us, and me included, you know, didn’t feel deserving. Oh, absolutely. And that’s very, very common. It still pops up for me. It still pops up for me. Yeah, yeah. But I’m able to isolate it and I’m able to say, wait a minute, that’s not the truth. Well, but the answer is we just keep catching it faster until it doesn’t come anymore. Exactly. Yeah, probably a day before we die.

10:11

Well, I must say, Pat, you know, she really inspired me because everybody’s been saying that to me, you have to write a book, you have to write a book, you have to write a book. I’ve been hearing it for like 25, 30 years. Oh, I didn’t know that. And so when I listened to you, I went, you know, okay. You know, it was like, because I too have some incredible stories.

10:33

Why don’t you share one of your stories with our audience? I’m sure they’d like a little piece of the story. I would love to share it. But before I do that, another woman at Unity came up to me with tears in her eyes, and she said, she read about me in the paper, and she knew she had to be here. And I don’t know if she’s a member or not, but she knew she had to be here. And as she was driving here, she prayed, and she said, God, let me hear your message.

11:01

And she was late. And usually she doesn’t go in late to places, but she just pressed through and came in, came in and sat down right before I started to talk. She came up to me and said, you know, I know that I am also being called to write a book and hearing your message.

11:18

inspired me and said, okay, I’m going to do it. So if there’s anybody out there in our audience who has felt that, I want to write a book, I need to write a book, and have been afraid, I really encourage you to step out in faith. Because I shudder to think my book almost died inside of me. Because now it’s helping thousands of people.

11:43

you know, deepen their relationship with the Divine. So, a story from my book, I like to call it, The Miracle Blouse. The Miracle Blouse, from Simply a Woman of Faith. Thank you. It was about, oh, I don’t know, I forget the years, they go by so fast, 25, 30 years ago. My husband and

12:06

I was out of work, and we had four children under the age of ten, a lot of kiddos. We were on welfare and food stamps, so it was a very difficult time in our life. This one day, I was picking the kids up from school, and I had some time to kill. I went to the local boutique, and I walked in. I love clothes, as I know you do. I do.

12:30

And I walked in, and I noticed the clearance sign in the back of the store. We like clearance signs. Oh, definitely. I’ll have to tell you one more story after this about sales. Anyway, I walked back, and I was just looking through the clothes, and I found this blouse that I fell in love with. And I still have it, and it still fits. Whoa! I’m impressed. But anyway, I saw this blouse. It had roses on it.

13:00

and I fell in love with it. But I had $10 in my pocket, and that was for milk and bread on the way home, and the blouse was $10. So as I was reluctantly putting the blouse back, I heard that small, still voice of God. Some people call it intuition, higher power,

13:18

whatever, but I heard that voice say, buy it. God says, buy the blouse. This is God says, buy it and I will provide. And I remember standing in the store going, is that you? Or is that me? I was hoping it was God. Who’s talking here? Right, who’s talking here? You know how we hear our own voice at the time, we’re not sure. But I decided to listen because I was used to listening to that voice and I bought the blouse and I didn’t pick up milk and bread.

13:48

And I didn’t say anything to anybody, my kids, when I picked them up. And I got home and I grabbed the mail. And in it was an envelope with Pat on it. And I said, hmm, I wonder who this could be from. Whoa, who’s writing to me? And in it was a card. And it said, to Pat, from the son of a carpenter, and a $10 bill. Oh, gosh, I’ve got gut bumps on that. Yeah, yeah.

14:15

Wow. Did that give you gut bumps? Most people go, and they’re in shock. From the son of a carpenter. Wow. Yes, and a $10 bill. Now, if I had received that a week later, a day later, of course I would have still been

14:33

but to have it happen. Exactly that way. Exactly that way. That’s how much God loves us and wants to provide when we listen and we hear that voice. It’s also how much we have to listen. That’s the key. You know, I’m going to share a short story here with you that has affected me since it happened very much. I was in Haiku on one of these back roads, you know, where it’s all twisty-turny, and I was going into a retreat center there.

15:02

And I was driving along the road, and I hear a spirit say, pull over. And I went, what the heck? I’m turning in right up here. And I get, pull over. And I went, okay. So I pulled over, and just as I pulled over, this big truck came barreling.

15:28

right down the middle of the road. I mean, he missed me maybe by that much, and I was like pulled off the road. And I sat there shaking, right? And then I hear a spirit say, that is an exact reason why you need to listen in every moment. And I went, oh.

15:54

Okay, I think I got the message. Sometimes it takes a big truck to get the message. How powerful. If you had not listened. If I hadn’t listened, I would have been killed. I mean, this big truck was really, literally barreling down the road. And I would have been turning, because I was getting ready to turn into the retreat center.

16:18

so i would have been turning and he would have been barreling down so we just have to listen have to listen so how do we tell them how do we tell them to listen to listen for me it’s taking time each day in prayer and meditation for me that’s the only way yes if i don’t sit and plug in to the divine power whom i choose to call god if i don’t sit and take that time

16:44

I’m not going to hear God’s voice. So it really is, for me, a spiritual discipline that I take that time each day. I journal, I pray, I go within, I get quiet. That’s the only way that we’re going to listen. You know, I was a, I don’t know if you can relate to this, a busy aholic.

17:04

I stayed busy, busy, busy, busy, and I rushed and I did all that because… I’m not so much of a busyaholic. Oh, okay. I’m a little slower. Oh, okay. I’m not that anymore. All right. I’m a recovering busyaholic. And I stayed busy because I didn’t want to go in and feel my feelings. But I do now, and I listen, and I pay attention, and I allow for whatever needs to come up

17:31

to come up. If it’s a belief that’s an old belief, I allow it to come up. Today I am stepping into my greatness. I am living my life. I think another thing to do with that is that when we go into that quiet time or meditation,

17:49

And for some people it’s not meditation, sitting down. I know some people like to walk on the beach and just tune in with the woods and that’s their meditation and that’s fine. It’s all whatever works.

18:06

However, I’ve also seen that when I proclaim that I will hear and pay attention, it’s much more profound. It’s like, okay, because you’re saying

18:23

I will do this. I will hear it. I will hear spirit speaking. I will be directed. Exactly. Not, well, maybe I will. I have always been directed. Exactly. You’re right. You’re affirming. Right. Yeah. I have another story that is really powerful about listening. Okay. It was, I went back to…

18:42

college. Is this also in your book? Yeah, this is a story in my book, Simply I Want My Faith. I went back to get my bachelor’s degree and then my master’s and it was a huge accomplishment because I think I was smart enough. I dropped out of school because I couldn’t write a paper and you know what, I kept

19:02

facing my fear. And now here you are with a book. And here I am in Maui on a speaking tour. I mean, like, wow. But anyway, I went back to school and I was so grateful and so, just so fulfilled that I was going away for the weekend after I got my master’s by myself to a beautiful place called Newport, Rhode Island. Oh, I know Newport. It’s gorgeous. Yes. And I was going by myself and as I was driving over the bridge, I asked God,

19:32

to lead me to somebody that really needed to feel God’s love. And I trusted that that would happen. But during the weekend, I had a lovely weekend, but I didn’t meet anybody, and I was disappointed. And as I was leaving, I decided to take a ride out to the ocean one more time.

19:51

And as I was driving, I heard that voice say, pull over here. I know those voices. Turn right. No, no, no, I’m going straight. I said, okay. I pulled over and parked my car and got out and walked to the beach, which was across the street. And there was all kinds of people there. There was children playing. And I said, well, now what do you want me to do? And I heard that voice say, that woman sitting over there on the rocks. And at first it was like…

20:21

Wait a minute, you really don’t want me to do this, do you? Only, you know, had I asked to do it, right? So I took a deep breath and I walked over and she was sitting at the end of the rocks and just sitting looking at the ocean. And I just put out my hand and simply said, Hi, I’m Pat Hastings and I have a message for you. And she just looked at me as if I was like a little crazy. And all I said was, God loves you very much. And she put her hands in her face and sobbed.

20:49

And it seemed like for hours, finally she calmed down and looked up to me and said, I was about to commit suicide. Oh my gosh. She had, her husband had left her for another woman. She had lost her job and she really, really felt that her God had abandoned her and she wanted to die. Well, we sat and we talked for a couple of hours and we kept in contact for many years and she went back to school and

21:19

She needed so much to hear those words at that moment. And thank God that I listened. And you were the conduit. That’s all. You knew it. That’s all. Right. That’s all. And what a wonderful thing to be. God’s instruments. Oh, absolutely. And we all are, you know.

21:36

Every single one of us. We’re no special. We’ve just said yes. We’re just listening a little bit more than some other people. And we can all develop that skill. That’s right. Because our intuition, we’re always hearing things. Maybe it’s simply call your mother or call your friend, and you say, oh, I can’t be bothered. Or someone’s going to call you. Exactly. And then the phone rings. Exactly. We all have it, and we really need to develop it and say yes to it.

22:05

Yes. Yes. Yes. Well, you know, it’s so funny because I have used that to be of service prayer a lot in the mornings. And I remember when I was traveling around the mainland, even before I came to Maui. So this was like 30 years ago, 35 years ago.

22:26

And that was my prayer to be of service. And I was traveling, and I kept ending up in the craziest situations. And finally I’m going, why do I end up in all these crazy situations? And then I hear a spirit say, you asked. So be careful what you ask for. You asked to be of service. Be a little careful. Well, my intention each morning, and I get on my knees, and my intention is to love. No, I’m sorry. It’s to be peaceful, to love, and to serve.

22:55

That’s what my heart is all about. Yes, yes. And spirit brings things into our lives. So we could call you a woman of faith and a woman of service. Absolutely. That’s what it’s all about, serving. Serving humanity and making a difference in somebody’s lives. I mean, it is just the most glorious feeling, as you know, to inspire somebody to say, yes, I can do it.

23:24

And I’ll be your book coach, honey, if you want to start writing your book. Step out and face. Step out and face. I’m not kidding you. I’m not kidding you. I will keep you accountable. Oh, I know. I have so many stories. I bet you do. And people just like they said to you, you should write all this down. So what’s keeping you from doing it? I’m scared. I’m not a writer.

23:49

I love it. I love it. I love it. Well, we’re just going to have to take another step out in faith. Yeah, and I’ll be here to hold your hand. Thank you. Well, you’re coming back. She’s coming back. Can I tell the story? Please tell the story. Oh, my gosh.

24:07

Last summer, I was speaking at a church in Rhode Island, and this woman came up to me afterward and said, well, you know, I’m stepping out in faith. I said, what are you doing? She says, I’m moving back to Hawaii. I said, oh, that’s wonderful. I said, it has always been my dream to go to Hawaii. So she says, well, you can stay with me. I said, really?

24:29

She says, for as long as you want. And then she lifts out a postcard of Maui, Hawaii. Wow. And this is from Rhode Island, folks. Right, right. It’s not California. Well, I raced home because my intention book, which I have all my dreams in, I said, I know I have Hawaii in there. I get home.

24:50

And in my book, there is a picture of a turtle in the ocean in Maui, Hawaii. So I knew that this was definitely from above. And I came and visited her two months, I’m sorry, in November for two weeks. She wrote a little card to me. She says, keep the vision of coming back to Maui. Now here it is, not even a year later, I’ve been here for a month.

25:20

She went away to Germany. She’s 83 years old. Oh, lovely. Yes, and she went away to Germany for the month, and I stayed at her condo overlooking the ocean. Isn’t it wonderful? It has been. You know, Ariel, I was looking at my journal this morning before I came, like in August, and I kept opening my heart to receive more. I was preparing my heart, and it has just been an incredible,

25:48

I know another book is ready to be birthed because the people that I’ve met and the opportunities have just been incredible. So as I was praying, just like last week, I know that, I call it a divine download, that God is calling me back here to Maui in January to June. Now, that’s a huge step in faith. A huge step in faith because

26:18

I don’t have a place to live yet, but I know the perfect and right place is waiting for me. Do you have a place for Pat? What a great opportunity to be on TV. I will be your therapist and your spiritual coach if you want to change your house. So my intention and my plan is to speak in different churches in Maui and of course my spiritual coaching. So I have to go back home. I am going back home and putting my condo

26:48

for rent for six months. Now, I talked to my son yesterday, who is my youngest, and can be very negative, right? So I said, Jimmy, I’m moving back to… Children be negative? Oh, no, no, no, no. I said, I’m moving back to Hawaii, to Maui, and, you know, I don’t have a place yet, I don’t have a job, and I’m going to rent. He said, you know, Mom, he says, renting is really difficult in Rhode Island. And I said, I know, but God has the perfect…

27:18

person from my beautiful home. And he just said, okay. So he has watched my faith. I said, Jimmy, you know all my stories of faith. They wise up. They wise up. Now I have four children, and the three oldest are very faithful, very spiritual, and following their heart. So he’s just kind of taking along here, and of course he will see what happens, what mom is creating. So I’m coming back at the, well, in January, I am a speaker for

27:47

on a cruise ship to Mexico. Oh, what fun. January 8th to the 15th. So after that, I’m available. And I will be back here. And I’m just so excited to see how it’s going to unfold. Because I know. Well, you know when you put it out there and you believe. Right. You believe and you trust. It will happen. It will happen. I just came back to the island after being away for a year and a half. Really? And I was, please God, I need a place to live. Yes.

28:17

I got a place to live. Yeah, everything is working out perfectly. It does when we believe and we have faith and that’s the key. That’s right.

28:26

And it’s… Well, we have to allow it to happen. We have to allow it, and we have to know that we’re deserving. And we have to step out before it happens. It would be easy if I had a place to live and everything was rented. Sure. Oh, sure, I can come. That would no longer be a step of faith. No, it’s a leap in faith. And it’s a knowing that God is… This isn’t just me. It’s a knowing in my heart that God is calling me to do this. And this is what you’re to do now. And this is what I’m to do now. I totally honor that, you know. And as we know…

28:56

Things change. Every moment things change. And we just have to be open for what’s coming next! More good! I have an affirmation that I use all the time, several times a day. I am open to more good. I am open to more good in my life.

29:19

When I start to feel like, well, in fact, this morning, I’m leaving in two days. I know, but we were going to miss you. We were going to miss you. But I was, you know, really staying positive. And all of a sudden, these thoughts, who do you think you are coming back here for six months? I was like, hmm, wait a minute. I am not listening to you. I’m not listening to you. I am a king’s kid. I am a child of God.

29:44

And my God is lavish and wants me to have abundance. And this is what I know in my heart of hearts, this is what God’s called me to do. So I said, delete, delete, delete. And that’s what we have to do when those, you know, not good enough, or you compare yourself, or how’s it going to happen? We need to just believe and step out. Absolutely. And let the fear go. Yes. You know, because it was interesting, because that was one of the things in this morning’s Daily Word was…

30:12

fear stops faith. And I thought that was an interesting statement. Yes. Because as soon as we go into that fear place, we’re no longer in the faith place. Exactly. Exactly. And this is scripture passages that I have no idea where it is, but it’s fear is useless. What is needed is trust. And what is fear? False evidence appearing real. Yeah. So we have to face our fears. And

30:38

I really was a fearful person most of my life. I grew up in an alcoholic home with sexual abuse and trauma. So I had a lot of fear inside. And as so many people that are listening probably do, have all this fear. And I really was able to overcome my fear by my relationship with Spirit and God. And that’s the only way. It’s the best way to do it. It’s the only way. I went into therapy. I was determined.

31:07

to be healed and hold. I was not going to let my past determine who I was in the present. So I just kept another workshop, I’ll go, another book. Of course I had to have all the books in the world to heal me. But I just kept showing up. I just kept showing up and asking to be healed. Absolutely. I just like, how did I get here? It’s just…

31:33

That faith walk, day by day, one day at a time. Absolutely. One day at a time. And if that’s too much, you break it down to one hour at a time. And if that’s too much, you break it down to one minute at a time. And it works. It does work. It absolutely works. It does work. And then the other thing is positive thinking. Yes. Yes. Right? Absolutely. Oh, woman of faith? Yes. My first book, I was thinking about it lately.

31:57

that I ever read on this whole positive thinking was Norman Vincent Peale when I was 17 years old. I remember his books. Yeah, and that’s just like, wow. So it’s been a long time for me, you know, infiltrating this change your thinking and change your life. I am a positive thinker. I always see the glass as half full. You know, I had a friend call me about four months ago, and she said,

32:25

pat she said you’re a woman of faith i said yes she said you wrote a book and i said yes and she said do you still get afraid and i said yes whenever i’m called to do something bigger than i think i can do or to step into my greatness i feel the fear but i feel the fear and i do it anyway well we had a teacher that used to say to us feel feel the fear in march

32:54

That’s a good one. Yes, not John. Absolutely. Go. Do it. Do it. It’s amazing when you do acknowledge the fear, feel it, talk about it, and then… It’s only then that you can let it go. But you don’t have to talk about it that much. No, right, right. You really don’t. If you share it once, that’s sharing.

33:21

If you share it twice, you’re creating a story. So feel it and let it go. Right, right, right. So you’re going to write a book.

33:34

I am. I’m going to write a book. This woman has inspired me. I’m going to do it. So when I call you and start crying. No, no, no, no. Don’t put that thought there. No, no. It’s going to flow with peace, ease, and joy. And do you have a title yet? You told me you cried at night. I did cry at night. I cried myself to sleep at night. I did. I can’t do it. I can’t do it. But now I’m your living example. Well, I have a title that I’ve been playing with for a while. Yeah, it’s called And This Be God.

34:04

Oh, I love it. I love it. That’s us. We need that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I love it, Ariel. I’m not kidding you. I am going to. Pester me? No, no, no, no, no, no. I’m going to hold you accountable because I believe in you. Oh, dear. I believe in you and that you have something to share with the world. And fear can no longer hold you back, girlfriend. Nope.

34:28

We met for a reason. You’re a great example, honey. Well, honey, if I can do it. So, well, you know, it’s getting to be that time. Wow, it went fast. So if you have anything else that you want to put across to these beautiful people about your book, where they can contact you. Yeah, I’d love to do that. Thank you. Thank you. Well, here’s my book, Simply a Woman of Faith, and how to live in spiritual power and transform your life.

35:24

I am just absolutely so humbled and grateful for what God has done in my life and so grateful that we met, Ariel. Me too, sweetheart. And that you invited me on your show. My great pleasure. It’s been so much fun. It has been fun. And it’s always fun to share with our people on the island. So many of these people don’t get to go out, don’t get to meet people like you that come and share their information. Right.

35:53

We appreciate your doing this. And my final word to you is that God loves you very much. And if you are feeling low or blue or abandoned today, I’m here to say that God loves you and is with you and will guide you to turn to God and don’t give up. Don’t give up because there’s a wonderful plan for your life. That’s right. Never give up.

36:21

Just keep on trucking. So would you like to do aloha with me to these beautiful people? Yes, what do we do? Aloha. We love you. Thank you for joining us today. Thank you, Pat.

36:45

Over the rainbow, why, oh why can’t I? If pretty little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow, so, oh so can I.

37:12

Where over the rainbow, blue birds fly. If birds fly over the rainbow, so then, oh so, can I!

37:41

You’ve been up against the wall Open that door

38:12

You try not to fall, open the door There’s a wonderful world, wondering where you’ve been Quit knocking, knocking, knocking and walk on in You can have it all, open the door

38:45

Sometimes it feels like You don’t have a clue Open the door It’s a beautiful life But you’ve got to begin Quit ringing the bell And just walk on in This time it’s up to you Open the door You can lift the latch

39:15

Turn the key, don’t need no ticket, you can get in free If it feels like home and you’re ready for more Take it easy, baby, and open the door Open the door The party’s going strong, open the door

39:48

It’s been here all along, open the door All your new best friends are waiting for you Why don’t you open the door and just walk on through You’re right where you belong, open the door
